走了將近五公里的路，腳已經酸到麻木了
迎面而來的車子很吵，因為我們行軍在大馬路旁的人行道上
不過對我姊而言，我更吵


為了殺時間，或者說只是無聊
一路上我不停當點唱機

嫌吵是因為，我唱得不好聽，卻又偏偏愛哼
更何況她又沒有點歌
所以說我很吵


「妳知道嗎？紀錄上說，
車禍案件中有20%是因為開車時看路邊的美女才釀成的」

「所以呢？」

「就讓我們來當那20%的罪魁禍首吧」

This is the fourth day since we've arrived at Northern Ireland. The weather is much cooler than I thought. This was the first time I saw rain drops falling from above, and the cold wind kept sweeping over, which made the air too chilly to breathe.

There's a myth about my Mom that says wherever she travels, she'll bring the good weather there also, and it turned out to be certainly true-- the next day, all the cloudy days through the past three months in this area had cleared up. I no longer have to stick to the heater, pretending I were a three-year-old and yelling--"I'm not going anywhere!!" , which made my Mom and Dad end up dragging me out of the apartment we're staying.

Oh, speaking of the apartment, as my parents came here as visiting professors, we are going to stay in their campus for about two weeks. Therefore, we live in their new-built student housing.

The most interesting part is that their students haven't moved in yet, so the whole apartment is quilt empty and spacious-- one kitchen, five bedrooms. Each has their own bed and bathroom. How nice it is! And what amuse me most is how the apartment looks from outside.

To tell the truth, living in this lovely house makes me reluctant to go out, though I am a good walker. These days, unfortunately, I haven't caught any handsome guy. But that doesn't mean they don't have one. However, since I'm living in a small town, far away from the city, there's less chance that I can bump into a handsome guy, so.....what a pity.

Most of the time here I do nothing but painting, working on the last piece I've just shown you, but it's not yet finished.

Still working on it.


In other leisure time I read a new novel I got in the bookstore, which seems to be the best-selling novel up to this day. It's a series, written by Stephenie Meyer (Hmmm...a close catch to my name). The first book I read is called "Twilight", so far so good. I hope I'll keep my interest through the last three parts.


I've tried to write more, but now I have to pass the computer to my Mom. Anyway, I enjoy my trip in Ireland, and I miss my cats, too.
